Draft for owner and attorney review. Not final until approved.
Age and ID
You must be 18 or older to get tattooed or pierced on your own, with a government-issued photo ID that shows your date of birth. Under 18, Colorado law requires a parent's or legal guardian's consent; at Satori your parent or guardian comes with you and signs the release at the shop.
Minimums and pricing
Tattoos have a $100 shop minimum. Above the minimum, most artists charge by the hour, and rates vary by artist. Piercings have a $30 minimum unless a special is running. Quotes are estimates, and the final price depends on the time your piece takes.
Appointments and deposits
Appointments are secured with a deposit. Your artist tells you the amount.
Walk ins
Walk ins are welcome at both shops during open hours, first come, first served.
Health and safety
Tell your artist or piercer about any health conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, or nursing before you start. We may decline or reschedule a service if it isn't safe that day. We don't tattoo or pierce anyone who is drunk or high.
Release form
Everyone signs a release form before service. You can fill out the release form ahead of time.
Photos
We love showing off finished work. Tell your artist if you'd rather your tattoo or piercing not be photographed or posted.
Gift cards
Satori gift cards can be used at both shops.
Licensing
Our Greeley shop is licensed by the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment. Larimer County, home of our Loveland shop, is still setting up its body art licensing program. Colorado's body art health rules (6 CCR 1010-22) apply at both shops.
